Robert Mugabe who is the president of Zimbabwe has forced many residents (over 200000) according to the UN to leave their homes which have then been demolished. Yesterday a story emerged whee two young children were buldosed to death in a house. Some of the evicted people have been sent to a camp without food or water. Last week there was a report which told of some people who went to deliver aid to the camp from outside the country, the people in the camp were told to come and get it then it was set on fire so they got none. All of these people are been punnished because ... they didn't vote Mugabe in the last election. The African Union says that they have more important things to deal with and they don't wish to interfear in Zimbabwean domestic policy. With the G8 summet not far away the question has to be asked: "Do countries which support such policies like that of Mugabe in Zimbabwe, deserve any help from the developed world?" I of course say no they don't. They haven't criticised Mugabe in any way or imposed sanctions. They don't want the west to sort out the problem. This is a tradgedy entirely man-made. The AU force in Sudan has been pretty inaffective. Surely its mition should have been to completely stop the government and supportive malitia causing any further problems to innocent civilians. There are still refugees, there are still people been killed, they haven't done anything at all.
What have I said Africa is on a 1 way trip to annihilation, where do you think the money from live 8 will end up, right in Mugabe's massive bank account...And as far as supporting mugabe these country's may feel it's better to be in with the devil, than against him, so in the light of their cowardice their aid should be suspended indefinately, until they can prove beyond doubt, that it will not squandered on grovelling to this psychopathic tyrant!...
